In fact, the Builder of The Village, Brian Lever, of Lever Development, LLC, places such a high priority on quality – and your satisfaction with the home he builds for you – that he will personally conduct a one-year quality walk-through to ensure that your home meets every warranty standard.
Customer Service
Lever Development, LLC, will provide you with the opportunity to participate in four distinct “walk-throughs” of your new home with a Lever Development representative:
- Homebuyer Pre-Drywall Orientation: Conducted just prior to the installation of drywall, this walk-through will provide you with a unique opportunity to view all of the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system components before they are hidden behind the walls. It will also enable you to verify that all of the light switches, light fixture locations, electrical receptacles, central vacuum outlets, computer jacks, etc., are roughed in exactly where you expected them to be. Your sales representative will accompany you on this walk-through.
- Pre-Occupancy Walk-Through and Final Customer Orientation: Usually conducted on the day of closing, the primary purpose of this walkthrough is to orient you to the proper operation, care and maintenance of all of the appliances, mechanical systems and other components and finishes of your home. Of course, if any defects in your home are noted during this walk-through - by either you or a Lever Development representative - they will be quickly addressed to your satisfaction. Your sales associate will accompany you on this walk-through.
- Six-Week and One-Year Post-Occupancy Homeowner Walk-Throughs: At both the six-week and one-year anniversaries of your purchase, a Lever Development representative will contact you to schedule a thorough quality walk-through of your home. Any defects covered by your warranty will be quickly addressed.
Warranty
The Builder, Lever Development, LLC, provides a standard one-year limited warranty, with respect to both materials and workmanship, of the structural components, mechanical systems, roof, and interior finishes and components of your home. All of the Manufacturers’ Warranties for appliances, heating systems, etc. will also be assigned to you.
Because your Builder is a member of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program, you have the option to purchase an extended ten-year structural defect warranty. In the event that you choose to purchase such extended coverage, the Builder will extend his warranty of your plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to two years.
